This is basically the first time I have worked with lighting on computers. I have bought a bunch of UV equipments (eg: cables, sleeves, and etc), I also have bought a CCFL lamp from Sharkoon. Red color CCFL and orange UV equips.

Now, everything is set up and working fine. But... my questions is:

How do I make these stuffs glow in the dark ?

I have a windowed Lian Li V2000 case and be quiet 520 P6 PSU

Thanks for many help !

You cant use colored cathodes if you want your UV sleeves and stuff to glow. You need a UV light. Look for UV Cathode kits.

Thanks for info ! But I would much appreciate if you can give me an example ? Please ? Anyway what is the big difference between those 2 ? I was just told to buy that and so I did but nothing happened... So, I will try to get just the UV light if you can give me a link to an example... please ? Thanks !

Here's your info for UV light: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UV_light and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_light

Read those and you'll understand.

Thanks but not that kinda example... I meant like where and what to buy exactly... =_=

The CCFL is colored light.

The UV tube is "black light"... it gives certain colors a "glowing" effect.

Any type of light, other than UV, will diminish the glowing effect, so you're better off going one way or the other.

exactly what he said....wow, what happened to SVC's cathode prices, they skyrocketed. Oh well, if you want cheap cathodes get them here: http://www.shoppts.com/12duccki.html.

the logisys ones kick ass. im using one 15" in the bottom of my case and it lights it up pretty well. i tried the coolermaster UV lights first and they plain SUCKED. here is a pic with one 15" logisys:

EDIT: www.jab-tech.com also has good prices on CCFLs.

^^ Judging by those pics, I'd look at the Logisys if you haven't already ordered. Case lights can be hit or miss, and that effect looks really good to me, so I'd go for it if you still need one.

Awesome guys ! Now I know the difference ! Many thanks, anyway I'm in Europe so I think I won't be able to buy from any of those online shops :p

But I'm certain I will be able to find one here...

Again many thanks to you guys !
