I know this is going to seem like a dumb question. But, I'm putting together an Athlon 64 system. And I have a minor question or two. Does the thermal paste need to be scraped off of the stock heat sink that came with the chip and then apply arctic silver or can I just apply the arctic silver with the other thermal paste on it. I'm using Arctic silver 5 if it matters. Thanks....
