ok, specs in sig. I'm at 133X12.5 If I increase the fsb to 135 it's fine. If I try to push it to 136 it wont boot and alarm goes off for temp. But temp was at like 40C at 135, alarm goes off at 50C. Just wondering why it won't go past that. Can my CPU just not take anymore because it's overheating? Do I need to increase the voltage? Just trying to learn here.
 
Personally, i'd change the temp alarm to something like 60c. 50c isn't really a problem for these chips. I wouldn't blame it on overheating if you were at 40c and you only went up a few mhz. I'd say first try to drop the multiplier and kick up the bus, see if you can get the bus higher that way.

Also, do you have your AGP and PCI bus speeds locked? That could cause problems if you don't.

Give us some more specs - motherboard, CPU, heatsink, etc.

Temps on most modern CPU's aren't a concern until you get up into the 55C range, but of course keeping it down is great. As previously stated, your agp and pci bus clocks are major factors here. Increasing the voltage on your cpu can help get a few extra mhz, but it is hard to say what to do as there is not enough detail.

If this post were on a scantron test, I'd mark E for 'Cannot answer due to insufficient data' ;)

I'd really shy away from vcore bumps until you know that's your limiting factor. Then you really start to see some heat when the vcore goes up.

I forgot to check, but if you have SATA, definitally make sure your OC isn't messing with your SATA, since I know those are very sensitive to frequency changes. I don't have a lot of personal experience with SATA, though, so you might have to do a little research on that on your own.
