Ok I have a barton 2500+ oc to 3200+or 2205mhz, 1.85v, running at 49c, if its running to hot could that possibly be causing my wierd source game crashes that occur at random intervals?

It could.....freezing or rebooting in 3d apps after a few mins....some weird BSOD etc etc.

49C doesnt seem that hot, is that at idle or full load? How is case cooling?

Before you blame heat , try running it at a lower overclock first.

My 1800+ runs at 1921mhz idle temp of 40C and max temp of 51C (Thats with stock heatsink/fan and the power supply fan is the only other fan in it) I have no trouble with programs crashing, or anything like that.

Also what heatsink do you run?, and how good is your case on airflow?

si-97 and my case has 7fans pushing air in or out, ones a 120mm blowhole. yeah im trying a 100mhz less clock and seeing what i get
