Hey guys ive been folding for a few years but it was mostly just a turn on and forget thing. Now that you got me addicted i have a stupid question. Can u use sli for folding? Will the work units go twice as fast? Also whats the best PPD gpu? The 280 or the 9800GX2?

The whole idea behind SLI is to combine two cards into one device.
So with it engaged the CUDA drivers only see one card, so only one GPU core get used.
To use both GPU cores, you need to turn SLI off.
At the moment the 9800GX2 give you a slightly better PpD than the 280.
