Will an ATX power supply go in a mATX case?
Or will I have to get an mATX power supply?

Ta!

An ATX PSU will fit into a couple of mATX cases, if they are built for it. Examples are Microfly, a couple of the newer In-Win cases, Coolermaster, and a couple Lian-Li cases.

I think it would be better if you indicated specifically what case you are referring to...

there are plenty of mATX cases using full size ATX power supplies these days.

please don't scare the noobs!

Stop spoiling my fun. :p

in that case... try to get a left handed ATX power supply, they seem to be compatible with more mATX cases. Also, be sure to drain the optical drive fluid before attempting to fit the PSU.
