i have the 9800GTX+ and the 9600GS. the 9800 will be used for 3d. and the 9600gso for phyx

is it possible to install on my old style mobo.. the asus a8n-sli premium?

does it have to be in sli for phyx enabled or it can be separate?

Thanks..

Well, you have to make sure your cards and mobo have SLI capabilities. If not,

yeh, its the SLI.
so, can connect 9800GTX+ with 9600GSO on sli whilst the 9600 do the phyics thing? or separate?

all you need to do is install the latest nvidia drivers and enable physx on your gso, that's it.
you have two different cards, so there is no need to worry about enabling sli. your gtx will process graphics while your gso will work as a dedicated physx card.

Thats what I was trying to get across in my first post. Just because you have two Nvidia card's doesn't mean you need to connect them with an SLI bridge. That would only be the case if they where the same card and you where using them for....SLI. You're not, so just plug both cards in separately.

Yeah, i have done it. is it normal because i looked at the details of Ndisplay and it dosent show 9600gso at all, used gpu-z and only shows 9800GTX+?

Make sure your running the newest drivers, as older drivers as older drivers were reported to not "see" the card if a monitor was not plugged in to the second card.

also, make a dummy plug

search the DC forums for info on how to make one, helped with some other Physx users problems here
