NOOB ? on ti4200

Hi guys. I have a gainward golden sample ti4200 video card. I want to overclock it with the coolbits hack. I've done some research on this forum and i'm still confused.

Can somebody provide a link so i can download the coolbits hack?

I also need detaild instructions on how to use it.

sorry for the noob questions but i really do need help.

Go to start, run, type in regedit. When the registry appears, go to HKEY_Local_Machines, software, Nvidia, Global, NVtweak (if Nvtweak is not there, create it), then inside create a new Dword and name it CoolBits. Give it a value of 3, then reboot.

i dont think you should feel like an ass, the thread starter did no work whatsoever in looking for coolbits
if he would do the sensible thing of googling "coolbits" like the poster below had said then he would see that the very first link was where he could find coolbits

sorry if u guys don't think i've researched, but i have. the problem is i don't understand all the terminology thats involved. i've gone to other sites but i just don't understand the lingo. I was hoping i could get some help here and have somebody simplify it for me. i'm not kidding when i say i'm a total noob. i trying to learn guys.

To learn its best if you enable it yourself that way you know what the reg file did to your registry. Look in the registry where ShuttleLuv pointed you too and you will see that that file created what Shuttle was explaining.
