Hi there.
Looking for a new display for an HTPC.
It will likely eventually be hooked up to a ZOTAC FUSION350-A-E, which has HDMI, DVI, and Display Port.
(I havent quite got that box working yet, so I'm watching stuff off a different box w/ DVI).
Currently the monitor is a ASUS VH236H 23", but it's too small.
Looking to upgrade likely to something in the 30-40" range.
Hopefully spend less than 1000$ (preferably in the 300-500 range)
I'm looking through stuff on newegg, and realize I know little to nothing on this topic.
In fact, I dont even really know the difference between "large format displays", "monitors", and "tvs".
And in "tvs" (which is where i assume i should be looking), the led/lcd/plasma thing has got me baffled as well.
I'm mostly watching ripped/compressed stuff and some streaming content.
I'm not a huge quality freak or anything (but obviously like good picture).
Any suggestions or insight is greatly appreciated as usual.
Thanks!
