Well, yesterday I used a sun microsystems blade server for the first time ever. And I fell in love with the keyboard (after struggling with the backspace key for about 20 minutes). The main thing that I fell in love with was esc being closer to home row (I'm a vi user), and just the overall better layout of alt/ctrl etc.

I came across the happy hacking keyboard, but it's very expensive, and is only half the keyboard (I still want a mostly normal keyboard with arrow keys in the right place, the ins/del/home/end/pgup/pgdn, a proper numpad etc.

Also I want a BACKSPACE key above enter, not a delete key (not sure what it is on happy hacking, it's labeled delete, but I dunno). And I need a delete key somewhere too (3-finger salute, various shortcuts use delete, etc)

I also prefer a hardwired keyboard, so just simple remapping isn't enough. Also I want qwerty-based alphabet keys, not dvorak (I know my keyboard shortcuts by position, not letter, it'd take me a LONG time to relearn a lot of that stuff, especially vim)
