Non-reference RX Vega 64 - When?

Supposedly somewhere in September, maybe at the same time the RX Vega 56 is launching...

Will you pay 699 for one? Looks like its one unrealistically priced card that uses more power, and performs similar to 1080, usually little slower and costs 100 more.

Wow Hexus clocked it to 1980mhz on the core? Would love to see some performance benchmarks on that. The power is insane though LAUGH. Interesting is a 1980/1000 Vega 64 can come close to a 1080ti.

In ]H] we trust!

It is a glitch ;) it won't actually do any performance at the shown clock speed but default to stock or below stock.

*** removed the video which was to long ;)

When the clock bugs out - is that when they only raise DPM7, or does it still occur if they overclock the lower DPM's so that the jump from one power state to the next is minimized?

Hi Kyle,

Is there any update you can provide on this question?
Near four weeks later, and no sign...

Kind regards. JBT

At this point it is unclear there is some rumour that supply for the card will be better in October. Guru3d had a review up for the custom card but it seemed to have the wrong bios so it is offline (Asus strixx),

Anyone has any updates as to when ?

Here's a review on the Asus Strix Vega 64.

Do not buy it. Asus uses custom "Shim" fans that wear out and die and they will not sell you fans and you can not order the fans from the manufactuer. So if it does a month after warranty. You are rigging fans onto it. They don't use a standard bolt pattern either. I had to buy MSI fans and use zipties to repair my Asus Strix Fury. Fair Warning.

Unlimited power ?

Maybe they got bored , from what I heard from Buildzoid it does not really scale well even with more power might be that you need it to get some stuff stable . But in the end it is not worth running high power on Vega64/56.
