I was reading about PFC on here and I was wondering what the long term effects of having a non-PFC Enermax 550W EPS PSU on 240v with an APC SmartUPS 620. Am I looking at reduced reliability in any point of the power chain?

BTW, the UPS monitoring software says that, when under full CPU and GPU loading, the UPS is only at 55% of full load.

NVM the last post because the place here in New Zealand doesn't have any of those in stock apparently.

In addition to my original question, if the UPS software says that its at 55% load when the computer is under heavy GPU and CPU loading, does that mean that it's at one of its non-linear power draw peaks? Is there any way to know if the Power Chute software can monitor the UPS's loading accurately with a Switch mode PSU?
