i've been painting a bunch of my hardware white (for my Parepin mod) because i want my Lian-li to have a clean-room look to it. i took of the heatsink of my 8800gts and i painted it

but now i want to put it back on the card. what would you guys recommend for thermal paste? should i stick with artic silver and risk the conductivity or should i use non conductive?

what would be a good non conductive paste?

All depends on how comfortable you are with applying thermal paste. I haven't heard of too many people messing up with conductive pastes like AS5. I personally am willing to sacrifice the (barely significant) amount of performance between AS5 and Ceramique to have the peace of mind that I won't kill some expensive piece of equipment by goofing on the TIM.

As for which non-conductive to go with, I'd say Arctic Silver's own Ceramique. I haven't heard much of anything about non-conductive pastes from other companies.
