I need something to place between my video card and harddrive bracket. It's a tight fit and I'm afraid of the case's metal framework short circuiting the video card.

What would be good to use?

i've used cardboard in the past and it seem to work fine. i've also used the pink plastic sheeting that comes with motherboards.

your woried about your hard drive cadge shorting out your vid card? put some clear packing tape over the hard drive cadge where your woried about contact (i want a pic if you can, or a link to your case, I cant get a clear pic in my head, about how the vid card would touch the hard drive cadge) good luck

Don't use clear packing tape, it can easily be charged (though not necessarily carry a current) and produce a static discharge. Use electrical tape, the dielectric breakdown voltage is know (and most likely much higher than packaging tape). You can get it at any radioshack or home depot.
