Noisy Video Card

I know the fan on my ATI 9600XT is noisy as hell, but what can I do about it? It rattles sometimes and its starting to drive my roommate and I batshit. :mad: Short of unplugging it or doing major surgery, what should be done to quieten it?
 
sounds like the fan is failing, you could relace it, maybe spend 15-20$ and pickup some aftermarket fan that fits a 9600xt, i'm sure there are tons both online and at retailers
 
yeah i was looking at a Zalman but i didnt think the fan was FAILING. if that's the case i think my card is still under warranty and I better get it checked out.
