noisy mcp355, perhaps loop critique?

hey everyone.

I have a new system with 2 mcp355/xspc tops and one is virtually silent and the other is extreamly loud. It is like a rattling sound but i am not sure what is causeing it although I have some ideas. I have 4 rotary fittings on the GPU loop so perhaps that is partly to blame. Perhaps there is air somewhere in the loop? I have been running it for a day and the sound is still there. here are some pictures of the loop

How did you bleed it? Looks like all of the air is trapped in the rad, as it's the highest point in loop.

And I can't tell from the picture, but is the res before the pump?
 
^ looks like the res is on the pump. XSPC res-tops.

OP, can you please put a space between each of your pics, they're all side by side and kinda annoying to look at. kthnx.

Might be a badly balanced impeller. I would recommend pulling the noisy pump apart to see if it's wearing unusually. You should see wear marks on the impeller or the housing if it's touching somewhere.

Also, what does the water look like? Is it totally clear or a little cloudy? If it's not crystal clear, it might have micro bubbles in there somewhere. That might make it a little noisy.

And last, what does the flow look like in your res? Is it moving pretty fast or slow. Are both reservoirs visibly moving nearly the same amount of water? If you have a bubble in your impeller it will hurt flow a lot. If not, it should be moving pretty nicely and you should see it through the res.

You could always switch the pumps to isolate the issue to one loop or the other.

Yeah sorry for the pics I was in a huge hurry. Bad news is, this pump is screwed. I think the bearing is bad. I have tested it outside of the loop with standard fittings and still the same sound. It is horribly annoying so I went and ordered a new one. Problem is that swiftech can't replace it due to the fact that I bought it with an alternate pump top. I may have to call frozencpu about this. I didn't realize that when I bought them, they would come pre-installed (not a big deal to me). Right now it still works but this one seems to be running slower than the CPU loop. The CPU loop is running great and the res is 100% clear and quiet. The GPU loop is still bubbly but the water is clear. It is also considerably warmer than the other pump.

I just removed the other pics since it has nothing to do with the fittings. The first loop is hidden in the picture behind the gpu. Perhaps there is something wrong with the impeller. IDK
