So much hype about quiet fans on the Corsair Hydro H100i, the included fans are so noisy, is it because I have mine setup as PULL? Would PUSH make them quieter? They are like deep tread tires going down the highway, even at slow speed. I will have to find time to set it to PUSH and see if the noise goes away. Otherwise, I'm disappointed with the noise.

When I first bolted my H50 to my case, I torqued it too tight and it was causing the blades to grind against the radiator. If you're going to be disconnecting the fan, try running it without being connected to the radiator; if it still makes that noise then it is probably a defective fan. I'm not saying the fans that come packaged with them are the quietest, but certainly not what you're describing.

They aren't overtightened, and both make the same kind of noise, so I think it's just the way they work, noisy! It's so noisy right now, it's beginning to bother me. Gonna play with the BIOS for "Quiet mode" option and see if that helps. If not, gonna try different brand of fan and see if makes any difference.

Thanks!
