I'm currently using dyndns.org services. I have a dynamic ip address and use their dynamic dns service. My domain name and dynamic dns service is going to expire with them in march. My question is which one would you choose? I like dyndns but thought I might give noip a try. My website isn't anything important, I just set this stuff up to teach myself things. Booth do the port 80 redirect which I need. Thanks for any help.

Eh, flip a coin, I don't see any difference in them. I use mostly dyndns for most setups...just out of familiarity, but IMO both are equal.

I've used both for a while now. I used no-ip for a couple years a while back, and didn't have any complaints. I liked the nice user interface they had as well.

I then bought a Netgear router and it had an automatic IP updater built into it, but didn't offer no-ip as a service. I then switched to dyndns and can't complain at all. I used it for myself, and has always been top notch, and for a few clients when I was doing some IT Consulting before relocating a few months back.

That said... either one is great. I would stick with dyndns if it's working for ya though.
