NOD32 5$

Any idea if this can this be used to add a year to existing NOD32 subscriptions or is it only for new users?

Can I buy this now and register a year from now? I JUST bought and registered yesterday, but this is a GREAT deal I'd like to line up for when my current 1-year license runs out.

awesome deal , i been using avg free since today . I been wanting to upgrade due to the increase amount of spyware/virus/malware , now i will be using NOD32 and Malwarebytes which together is amazingly good

Wait till your current sub expires and then activate this one, this will not extend your current one, it gives you a new username and password.

I usually buy the 5 pack for $30 or so, so this is a pretty good deal, you can get 5 years on one machine or 5 machines for 1 year for $25. the 5 pack is only 1 year for 5 machines.

I bought this today and just did a scan. It flagged the same stuff that always gets flagged - copies of Foxit, PC Wizard etc - nothing really . The kicker is that I stopped using AV aps a year ago because they just bog things down and give false positives more than catch anything real. Its worth $5

Huh. I think I've had ONE false positive in the year I've used it - not counting keygens, which most AV flag as dangerous. A file from the Battlefield 2 mod "AIX 2.0" Also, NOD32 rates very highly in "false positives" testing. It had ONE, which no other antivirus topped.

Curious about this too. Bought 2 copies for now. Thanks OP.

In for 1 but good god newegg is fucking stupid. Cant download it because my digital download is "packaging". Of all the digital things i have bought this is the strangest experience. Its been 15 minutes and still no email to download or download option on the site.

Took about 3-5 minutes for my email to roll in....be patient and keep checking.
Also, I found it in the account history (recent purchases or some such), but it was there as well. I think they're just a bit busy is all

newegg emails you the key, you then go to eset.com and activate the key.
I got all 5 of my keys in one email 6 minutes after ordering.

here is the activation link,
https://www.eset.com/us/activate/
the key newegg sends you goes in the bottom of the form where it says serial number/activation key
once you activate it you will be able to download it.
you can also download NOD32 as a trial and get 30 days, then activate the key later, netting you 13 months of coverage.
link to trial,
http://www.eset.com/us/download/home/detail/family/2/?trl=ea

once the trial ends, activate your key, you then get a username and password,.and then you go into NOD32 on your PC and choose to activate using username and password.

I've recently started having some weird issues with NOD32. I've been using it for years now, but I recently started having some very unusual network issues involving live tv and xbox media center. For what ever reason, the version as of last month was completely killing it.

At first I couldnt even figure out what it was, but after backing up and doing about 3 fresh installs I realized that it occured and was reproducible after installing NOD32..

For now I've been using Microsoft security essentials until I have the time to go through a solution.

Oh and another warning. Uninstalling, disabling nod32, and windows firewall does not fix the network media streaming issue nod32 causes either. Its highly likely its a security policy erroneously being changed/created by nod32. Haven't bothered hunting down the root cause yet.

Might be important for someone in a similar position.
