NOD32 3.0 blocking Windows Update after SP1 install

Yeah, this little pain is back again.

Windows Update fails with a 800B0003 code when you run it. If you turn off "Web Protection" in NOD32 the issue goes away and Windows Update works.

I tried entering *.microsoft.com in the exception list, but it doesn't help.

Anyone know how to fix this once and for all?

I've seen some posting network issues with V3. I'm sticking with 2.7 for now and suggest using that for a while longer.

I've sent them a support request from within the program. I'll report back what they say.

I have indications that ESET are aware of this, but have not received anything back from them yet. More to come...

Remove NOD 32, reinstall after SP1. Should work fine.

It took a few weeks, but working with ESET the issue has been resolved.

If you have this issue download the just released update 3.0.621 and the issue will be resolved for you.
