So recently I purchased this from a forum member and I noticed it's for AM2 procs. Is this a problem installing it on a AM3 socket?

The springs that came with it are too short and I'm not sure if I'm missing the AMD springs or if they're supposed to be like that and the socket is just too different.

So I ended up finding out it does support my motherboard.

All I need to know now is if the pressure springs for AMD and Intel are different sizes as the ones I'm using right now are way too short.
