no work from WCG?

I am doing the clean energy project and have chosen to get other work when no work for it is available but now my boinc client says that no work is availible at all, im not doing anything right now.

Is this normal for WCG?

yeah happens every once in a while.. just manually update it.. it should find something.. right now the clean energy projects have full priority over everything..

It does happen once in a while. Try selecting a couple other projects and crunch a mix. I get the same message every couple of days lately but it only lasts for one update usually. Do you have a queue of 1 or more days? It helps sometimes.

So it's not just you. I've been seeing the one after midnight the past 2 or 3 days but goes away right away. It looks like they had an assignment server issue around 5PM EST but it looks to have been resolved pretty quickly.

I have all the above projects manually selected as well as get work from other projects so that won't help you. But having a queue of 1+ days will (I never go over 1.5-2 days) since my machines had plenty of work to do until the issue was resolved. The work queue is one of the really nice features of the Boinc client IMO.

I tend to keep 2 to 3 days in my Queue. Boinc knows how much I'll crunch in that time frame and I've not once ran out of work to do.

I'm also spreadout between Clean Energy, FA@H, & Conquer Cancer
