my friend has a asus a7n8x mb with an 128mb ati agp card i think x800 or something like that. computers been working fine for a year then all the sudden no video, but everything else looks/sounds like its working. i put a 6600gt in there and still no video. any suggestions would be great. thanks
 
Have an old PCI card to try? Are there any beeps on bootup? Usually they can help you diagnose the problem.
 
Try booting into VGA mode via F8 during startup, see if that helps, different monitor maybe?

See if you can also get into safe mode, may have a corrupted driver.
