my eVGA e-GeForce 8800GT AKIMBO PCI-E x16 card will not show up on my monitor but onboard video from my Asus M3N78 Pro works. Its been about a year or so. the fan works so its getting power but won't display.

any ideas?

also I've had problems with the card displaying before after shutting the computer off at the switch when it freezes but it eventually works this time there is nothing no video.

its possible the cards dying on you.. if you have another system to test it in id try that.. if anything check the bios and make sure its set to load the pci-e video first.. i know i had to do that with my AMD 780G motherboard so that it would bypass the onboard video..

its still working had to take of the pci metal thing since it wasn't seated in the slot well. case is a Silverstone LC10B-E HTPC.

Are there any aftermarket pci low profile brackets i can use with the card?

Also ever since I bought it I have to take it out and use on board video mainly after the computer freezes any ideas on that? bad driver, bios or something?
