No video during boot?

Hey guys I recently built a new rig and have had no problems so far, but the other week, when I turn on the computer I do not see the standard post screens or even the Windows 7 loading screen. However my computer DOES boot into Windows 7 just fine and everything works as usual. But this is bothering me because if I need to make any changes to the BIOS I can't. Does anyone know how to fix this? To clarify though, computer is not hooked up to a monitor, but to an 32" Toshiba LCD TV. It's been hooked up this way since I built the rig though. Also, i tried connecting the rig to a Viewsonic LCD monitor and the first couple of times there was video just fine, but now THAT doesn't show video either. The monitor also sometimes will go into sleep mode while I'm using it in Windows 7 too. It's all driving me crazy, does anyone know what the cause is?

Reset CMOS and see what happens?
Try a different video card?

I only have these 2 cards. And it doesn't explain why it was working before but not now? It's driving me crazy because if I need to do any repairing I can't since I can't even see the BIOS or anything.

Often TVs will not show the 640x480-800x600 resolution used by the BIOS / DOS. This is nothing new, and it's a big part of why I never recommend anyone use a TV as a PC monitor. There may be no fix.

Yes and while that's true, it doesn't make sense that it WAS working before during boot. It also doesn't explain why I also get no output while hooked up to an actual PC monitor during boot?
