No Video after reboot

I have had this system for a little while and it has been fine until this week.
Asus P8Z68
I72600K
460GTX
H620 Power Supply

Installed some updates and after the reboot I had no video but the computer booted up.
I could ping it and RDP into it over the network.

I installed an 8800GTS into the 2nd PCI Express slot and booted up with the monitor on that card and everything works fine.

Pulled the 460 out and put the 8800 in the first PCI Express and it works.
460 in either slot does not.
Bought a new 670 GTX and it will not display video in either slot.
The 8800 only has one 6 pin connector and it works with either cable.

I am not sure what to do with this one. I am leaning towards the power supply having an issue that cannot power the bigger cards but it has enough to power the 8800....

Sorry for the rambling, Any ideas??
 
Do a System restore (assuming you have it enabled) to a date before you applied the updates and retest/reinstall. This would be my first stab at it at least.
 
I appreciate the response but since I get no video at POST with the "big" cards I do not see how the system updates would have any impact. I could be wrong though...

My point is, you can rollback then (stress)test the cards to help rule out your PSU or pursue other troubleshooting techniques. I've seen MS updates do some funky stuff before, not recently, but alas it can and has happened.
 
As far as stress testing I was able to play a quick round of Borderlands 2 using the 8800GTS 512 and the system worked fine.

If I shut it down and replace the 8800GTS 512 with the 460 or 670 and turn it back on I get no video on POST but the system boots up and I can access it remotely.

I shut it down again and put the 8800 GTS back in and everything boots up just fine.

I am going to pick up a new power supply on the way home from work today and see what happens.
