Ok I redid the the hard drive on the second machine in my sig last night after I screwed up installing linux. But the problem is that I get video all the way until when the drivers load in windows. I can see the windows splash screen with the status bar but I loose video when it comes time to go to the welcome screen. It boots just fine into safe mode and boots just fine without the ATI drivers installed but with the instaleed i dont get video when i get to windows. I have tried multiple versions of the Cats and have ran drivers cleaner. I think I may of downloaded the wrong chipset drivers last night( it got late) and well would that cause this.

Any thing else I can try before I wipe the drive and try again.

Reboot, hit F8 before the windows boot menu to get the safe mode selection. Boot into safe mode VGA mode.

Once the OS comes up, set the display settings to 800x600 with 60 Hz refresh and reboot into normal mode.
