No Stereo Mix when using S/PDIF out

what "stereo mix"? you get no sound via S/PDIF, or something else?

Stereo Mix, also known as "What You Hear" or "What U Hear" allows you to record anything you hear coming from your speakers without the use of a microphone. I need this to record ventrilo, skype and bits of podcasts.
 
well you answered one question, now:

is the DG720 configured correctly?

before you argue with me, if you plug the DG720 in via analog, does it work?
