no startbutton XP pro

I have an Xp Pro machine here at work that lost the start button. How can I get that back?

I figure it is infected with a virus and or spyware. SP2 maybe 3 is on it. if I right click on my computer and go to properties only tabs I have are

Hardware, advanced system restore and remote.

Do ctl-alt-del, run task manager, and then go to File -> Run and load what you need. Or boot to safe mode. Try a system restore or install a AV from safe mode.
