There was no active mixer devices available. To install mixer devices, go to control panel, click printers and other hardware, then click addhardware.

This program will now close.

I tryed that and still no cigar.......i also went to my device manager and everything in my sound, video game controllers is fine, but under other devices is has a exlimation point next to Multimeda AUdio Controller. Can any1 please help me? thanks

Step 1

Identify soundcard (is it integrated, or is it on a pci card, and what type is it?) You might have to open your computer to take a look at what type of soundcard it is if it's pci, but if it's integrated a cd should have come with your motherboad that contains sound drivers, among other things. At the very least, your motherboard manual should list the type of integrated audio it is.

Step 2

Download drivers from manufacturers website for your soundcard or locate a cd that shipped with soundcard/motherboard.

Step 3

Install drivers
