No room for a sound card what do I do?

Hi,

I am running Tri-SLI so on this particular motherboard I have no room for a soundcard. What should I do? I am currently using a pair of Swans D1080MkII's, but feel as though my onboard audio is holding them back. Also do you have any suggestions for a sub?

Correct me If I am wrong but that particular mobo requires 2 PCI slots to be empty in order to use Tri-Sli....In which case, my only suggestion would be to use an external sound interface...Sound Blaster offers external USB sound cards....

Cut a hole in your case and move all the cards down one slot. Ta-da!

Does the mainboard have SPDIF out? If so, maybe a digital output to a DAC?

Edit: It seems from the NewEgg website, that motherboard (ASUS P6T6) does have both optical and coax digital out. So maybe someone more knowledged than me in PC audio (which is most everyone posting here) can give suggestions on a good DAC.
