ok im using a plain old set of stereo speakers
i have it in two speaker mode in my sound settings
i have the balance set to center
when i move the balance to the right, no sound. when i move it to the left i have sound.
now in games/apps with 3d audio, it seems the closer it gets to the rear right its very dim
the front right is louder than the rear right, if that helps figure anything out
i have a turtle beach santa cruz sound card with the windows certified drivers installed, i tried reinstalling drivers, i tried running the diagnostic and it says everything is fine, i tried installing the newer but not windows certified drivers. none of that has worked
any ideas at all? anyone?
-edit-
it was the speakers lol i dont know how, but i put a borrowed pair of headphones in and it works ok
so disregard me
