No Power??! Help?

I got an Antec Case with a 430 watt power supply 20 pin - and the board(Chaintech) is a 24 pin and when i flip the switch on the powersupply in the back my two fans kick in that go straight to the power supply but none of my processor fans or video card fans even jolt when i feed power to the motherboard. Is that a result of a 20 pin power supply because the board is a 24 pin? And should i buy a adapter from 20 to 24 pin?

I did find a MB on the Chaintech website that has a 24 pin system connector and a 4 pin connector on the MB. The VNF4 Ultra ZENITH VE

Everything I have read on this says you need to buy an adapter to make that PS work with your MB.
