when i turn pc on everything looks good, then I get 1 beep.. 5-8 Secs later another one. and Stops beeping. I dont see nothing on my Screen just my monitor saying "analog/Digital". Its my first time using DVI on monitor. Suggestions?

faulty ram?

Take absolutely everything out. Plug in just the minimum. Motherboard, 1 stick of ram in slot one, the cpu, and your video card. Boot up and see what happens, you should at least get the bios with this.....

do the same thing ( minimum necessary ) and use a different stick of RAM. In fact try them all individually untill you find one that works. If they all do the same thing you can probably rule out the memory.

Well, I'd suggest trying a different PSU, Antec is becoming very famous for crapping out on ASUS boards, this is not the first time I see it, heck it happened to me as well.

And yes, I did get the beeps and freeze ups, how can that happen?
i dont got a 2nd part of anything except memory

yeah i would try a different PS if you can find one. I know there were lots of problems with the Antec NeoHE power supplies and ASUS motherboards, but I'm not sure about the TruePower series. Maybe you could swipe a friends PS just to test?

WHOA IS THAT SO?!?!

Holy crap, holy crap... I have an Antec PSU and an ASUS mobo.
Ah well. Been working for six months fine so far. :D

Oh, and this isn't a no POST problem that the thread starter is having... it actually IS posting, that's what the beeps are. THAT SAID, the thread poster's problem here is that his memory is incompatible. That mobo only supports up to DDR400.

 alright. Well, if this is a memory problem, I for one will be surprised. The original poster said that he has tried not only both of the memory sticks he listed but also another stick. Also i think that at default these sticks will run at DDR400. The HT should run on the MB at a default 200Mhz x 2 = DDR400. It is my understanding that the sticks will run DDR400 out of the box assuming a default HT clock not at 500mhz.

just wondering if you remembered to plug in the 4 pin cpu power into the system board. also are you using a 20pin atx psu? what about video card aux power? is it plugged in? does your video card have aux power connector? if it does not and you are using a 20pin atx then then you need to plug in to the ez plug connector on the mobo

also have you tried reseating the cpu, and resetting the bios?

It is actually highly dependent on the mobo. While there is a good chance it would work, there's no guarantee. Intel's i865 mobos, as an example, freak out when you put underclocked memory in your system. Some others freak out with memory which were designed to run at higher speeds, as is possibly the case here. Also, unless we know what speed the other stick is, it could be something like DDR500 as well.

ok guys, whole time it wasnt even my pc.. it was my Monitor!!! Arg... the DVI! I used the monitor on RGB(sp?) not DVI before and this was first time DVI when i connected toehr one it showed up. What could be causing that? Also I went into Bios everything is read 2gb ram, cpu etc. Now the only prob is the guy i baught windows xp from is an upgrade version not full.. :-()
