Well I have a via p4pb ultra laying around and I was thinking about using it in a server but then I rembered I removed the north bridge coolor when I put a water block on it and I was wonder if I really need it to run (it was a pos heatsink) or will the motherboard burn up?

To be honest, you'd probably be alright running it without a cooler (if it was one of those dinky green things), but you can find a cheap cooler just about anywhere... if you've got a ton of time on your hands you can lap a ton of older pennies and glue them together for a super ghetto heatsink (it works, too!)

I've got a crapload of small sinks lying around, i'll send you one for postage and packaging (about $2) if you'd like.
P.S.: What's up with this dark gray background w/ black text? (WYSIWYG Editor?)

If the airflow through the case is at least decent, it might work fine without a heatsink on the northbridge, but I would recommend putting at least a small HS on it. It's not like they're that expensive :)
