for those that haven't heard the bad news, it looks like nVentiv is out of money -- they have apparently let everyone (as in ALL employees from the factory floor thru sales and support) go and they are filing for bankruptcy. hopefully, they can reorganize and get back on their feet but teh near future, it looks like there won't be anymore MACH II, etc.

:(

Yup that´s right sadly see my post
yeah - I caught it at the bottom of the page a couple minutes after I posted this one.
now there is no competition in the commercial sector of the phase change market...not a good thing.

yeah it suck but holy shit now we are all fucked since the vapochill will be the only solution....god I hope they dont price gouge due to that....

I dont think they can really afford to price gouge, the market is small enough as it is. The vapo LS actually isnt half bad though. If all else fails though, there are people around that will make them, if you have the right contacts.

heh. I build one about every other weekend for the fun of it.

building phase change stuff is too tempting - you get to play with the torch, brazing rods, 30lb cylinders of high pressure refrigerant, vacuum pumps that will pull 29" of vacuum, etc.

i have a dual evap system on the bench right now - when it is done, the weapon cascade will occupy the bench until it is finished and will hit -100C. :)
