Hey guys, i just built a new rig. using the GA-PH67A-UD3 and i5 2500k. the problem is after logging into windows my internet will not detect the ethernet cable. The ethernet cable is coming from the router to the motherboard. I even switched another cable to see if its the cable that's broken. but no, nothing, like i never even plugged anything in. Now i am questioning if the LAN is broken on the mobo?

any suggestions?! plz help
 
install drivers? on the back of the computer, do you get a green led light up when you plug in the cable?
does device manager show ethernet drivers?
do the network adapters appear in Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections ?
 
yes the green light shows up. i am not sure about the rest i gott chek tomorrow
 
if its a win7 os then you may need to install the ethernet drivers that came with the mobo, instead of the ones that win7 uses.
