I recently dropped in a new MB (gigabyte ga-ex58-ud4t) , cpu (intel core i7 2.66 ghz), and ram (3 sticks of 2gb ddr3) as a result of a system crash/upgrade. However, I have been unable to get my video card to work since. I have tried my old 8600 GTS and a new 4850, however neither seems to work.

Prior to plugging in the DVI to my computer, the screen scrolls a RGB box that says check video source. Once I plug in the cable to the computer, the screen goes black, and then goes into power save mode.

Please help, as I have exhauted all of my ideas: resetting cpu, dedicated 6 pin connection to powersupply, moving the video card to a different pci-e slot).

Have you tried a different monitor? If so, and still the same result my guess would be something is wrong with the mobo.
