I noticed today that I cant edit my posts in the front page section.

Was this intentional?
 
Yes it is intentional. The key there is to proof-read, and make sure you're saying what you really want to say, before posting. ;)
 
The Admins/Mods would prefer you take your time and do your post right the first time, I suppose, and not have to - or try to in some situations - backpedal and get into a situation of someone catching you saying something then you editing it out... who knows.

Is it really that big of a deal to preview your post first, then submit it when it's as good as you intend?
