No DVD audio for some reason????

Suddenly I cant seem to get any DVD auto to play on my computer.. I havent tried a DVD in quite a while but Im pretty certain it worked before. I can still play CD audio just fine as well as anything else with sound (except DVDs)

Any clues to why this isnt working? I cant find any cables that arent hooked up right, all the volume settings appear right and are not muted.

Windows XP SP2 computer built in AC97 7.1 sound card.
 
well I tried a few different DVDs.. even cranked it up full blast and nothing.. I know something must have broke but I sure cant find it.
