I ordered a hard drive from jkinney110 3 weeks ago, I sent an email last week asking for a tracking number I got no reply, I sent another email asking where my hard drive was. He hasn't logged on since 1-13-10.

Can you post a link to the thread you bought from?
When was the last time you were in contact?

Did you get any other contact info from him?

you better get on it cause your on limited time with paypal. i would have done it after a week

yeah, I was suppose to get a hard drive too, never got it.

OP, I don't like PP claims (as a buyer) but sometimes you have to do what you have to do. Wait as long as you feel you can ... but not so long that you cannot file the claim.

Its amazing how a PP claim will get the attention of a seller who has decided to ignore their responsibilities ...

There is no benefit to waiting to file a paypal claim. You should file a claim ASAP
There are only downsides because it gives the seller more time to withdraw or send your money away and leave you with nothing to recover.

Hey he was logged on Last Activity: Yesterday 07:23 PM I would go ahead and file it does not hurt to do that and get it rolling and dont play around with him either.

Yeah... Another new member apparently causing a ruckus in the FS thread.. maybe there should be some new requirements to sell.. like 3 months membership or 25+ heat from other forums. Just an idea

Hope you get your money back.

I was trying to obtain his E8400 CPU a few weeks ago. He replied to my first few messages but never finalized the transaction. Guess I'm glad he didn't.

Please don't post TTT links in sellers threads. If/when that is done, please leave it to one of the mods to handle.

I've contacted him to make sure he was aware this was here.

All interested parties were issued a refund, and the payments are no longer to be received by my father since I can do it myself again. That's where the problem lied originally, and I am very sorry for the inconveniences.

The login at that date posted above must have been somebody checking the history at my parents' house, or possibly my wife getting on my computer.

I am again very sorry for the lack of communication, but as I mentioned at the beginning of the post : all parties were given a refund. And also, I am the one receiving the payment now, and I am the one sending the items out as soon as I receive the payment.

Thank you Oldie for bringing this thread to my attention

Kuwi, please confirm if this is resolved.

Everyone else please stay out until the OP responds, unless you also have first hand information that would benefit the thread.

Jkinney, did you ever send out that hard drive we agreed on?

86 5.0L, all transactions done through PayPal were refunded. Your drive was not sent out because of so. The refund came from Jerry L. Kinney via PayPal.

I'll ask him for the Transaction ID# once he's home today

Im not surprised you don't remember our deal. We agreed that you would shipped out a 2.5" IDE drive first since your references were low and you were new. I asked for your contact info, which by the way, you probably gave me a phony number, since nobody ever answered, and you gave no further updates for weeks. No money ever exchanged hands, so Paypal wont have any info. I am going to go ahead and say you never intended to send the hard drive, so I guess our deal is closed.

I never agree to send items before receiving payment for them; in this situation I do remember telling you I would do so. I don't find it easy to trust anybody well enough to ship before a payment has been received; and it is and was 100% my mistake for thinking I would remember well enough the kind of transaction I agreed to do it on. I had alot of offers coming from three different sites on multiple items ([H], EVGA.com, and local Craigslist.org) so I was pretty swamped with things from all of them as well. Not to say people who pay before I ship take priority, but unfortunately it kind of played out that way in the end due to my own personal error.

As far as the phone contact is concerned - you were not given a false number and you either reached my voicemail of which clearly states my first and last name, or my wife's voicemail which states her name "Miranda". We don't answer unknown numbers and only call back to those who leave a voicemail. Again in my own mistake, I never added your number to my phone as it didn't seem necessary at the time.

I understand that I was 100% in the wrong with all transactions - that is why I had my father, who was to be the individual responsible for receiving the payments AND shipping the packages (I notified purchasees of this beforehand), refund 100% of everybody's money. I do not have control over his PayPal account, and my own PayPal account hasn't got my current home address confirmed yet. That is why I prefer to accept USPS Money Orders as payment.

Well I shot a note to Kuwi and got no response. For now I'm going to assume all outstanding issues are resolved; and money and property are in the right places. If that is not the case, please notify myself or any of the other FS/FT mods so we can reopen the thread to let you post.
