A friend of mine's computer will power off a couple seconds after he powers it on. It started one day out of the blue when he left the room with the system on an then came back and it was off.

He changed the power supply and it still does the same thing. His system was built by him about a year ago. He also never OCed it. If anyone has seen this before and might have an avenue to try, please post a response. Thanks.

He just told me that the HSF works and he is pretty sure that it is seated correctly. He had the case open when tried to power on and saw the fan running.

LOL I shoted out my MB one day it it did the same thing. I hate to say it but the MB is dead.
