No boot, have no idea what problem is :(

Hello,
I just build a setup, but am having a issue. When I go to bios, it recognizes both CD drives and the hdd, but when I put the Windows CD in, it doesn't load it up. It just gets stuck. Specs are:
P4 2.8C
ASUS P4C800 Deluxe
Crucial 2x512 PC3200
Radeon 9200

Another thing, when I had the modem in there, I was getting the following error message: "PCI IRQ routing table error [02:IF:00]"

I tried googling, but got nothing helpful. Please help a stressed out [H]er. Thanks!

did you set in the boot sequence to start booting from CD? also - are you positive that your XP is bootable (*cough*backups*cough* can be non bootable...)
 
I bought the XP disc from newegg.com The sequence is floppy, hdd, cd drive. It read the CD the first time, because I got the "setup is inspecting you hardware" message, but it never actually got to the setup. Thanks for the response, keep em coming please :)
