I know this does not focus on any [H] readers now does it? Take my advice, turn off your email at night, unless you are getting “emails” from a hot blond chick that makes a Baywatch “uniform” look like lots of clothing.

Who unleashed you on the news posting? :p

But yeah, I can sympathize with the article somewhat, but could never image taking my handheld device to BED with me so I don't miss anything. My email programs get shut off once I get off the clock at work, and they usually stay off until I go back on th clock.

Is this to any relation your other thread? :p

On a more serious note, we all need to unwind from work, I see no legitimate reason to still be plugged in when not at work.

When I go to bed, I go to bed. I usually hit the sack hard.

Heck, I can even be burglarized or the place can be raided... just don't wake me up, keep quiet, and keep the lights off. lol... Yes, I like to have my sleep.

Unless it's a critical business email or message than only a huge nerd is waking up to check a text message :p

I found it very counterproductive having my email client checking for new email whenever it arrived. Two or three times a day is plenty.
