nightly ghosting information

i am looking at building a file server

my plan is to have 2 drives one as main hd and one as a backup drive in drive cages

now my question is how do i make it so it makes a entire backup nightly or weekly with lil to no input from me?

is it possible?

Look into some actual backup software, all the good ones you can set schedules and have it do incremental backups each night.

Windows? I use robocopy. I have my profiles and other important data copied over to a different set of drives.

I use a scheduled task to run it every night at 9pm.

what kind of backup softwar is out there?

i want to copy the entire harddrive so if one dies i can pull the backup out and put in as the master and boot up with no problems

what kind of price are we looking at??

I've used Norton Ghost http://www.symantec.com/sabu/ghost/ghost_personal/ and it works very well. It's 70$ but u can get it on sale for less than that.
