Nidec Gentle Typhoon

Anyone tried the Nidec Servo Gentle Typhoon? How do they compare to the good old gentle typhoons?

From the you tube video here, the noise profile is far superior to even the Vardar and Noctua.
Never realized how loud Noctua fans can be compared to these.

Don't think this is the correct sub-forum.

Anyway, the Scythe versions were just rebadged Nidecs, so performance is identical.

Nidec Servo is the company that makes them. Scythe simply bought them and put their brand on the packaging.

I can confirm that gentle typhoon is among the best fans. silentpcreview approved of it. it's just expensive and rare, I guess because it's genuinely japanese

Well, they used to be expensive because they were the best - now they're ultra expensive because they're the best AND Scythe does not have them made anymore.

Hopefully another company approaches them to have them made again
