I am either thinking about getting a TaganAplus black pearl case or nickel plating the inside of my raidmax smilodon case hehe. Well Which one should I do... also for the nickel plating.. do you know any stores that will do that in houston,texas? Thanks.
 
Look for an Automotive Chrome Plater, items are Nickel plated before there Chrome plated so they should be able to help you.
 
There are many factors in plating, you may want to see if they are able to do it first.

Thats the only practical way of plating a case that I know of but what the poster above was trying to say is the size of the piece matters, the nooks and crannies matter, the sharp bends/corners matter. To get a truly class A plating job you will probally have to disassemble the case (drill out rivets etc.) into the individual parts. All sharp edges would need to be de-burred and smoothed. All surface inprefections require sanding and it must be absolutely spotlessly clean, no oil from your hands anywhere. If the case is made of Aluminum or has aluminum parts that would be a big issue. In short, you don't just dump a computer case in a plating vat and expect it come out perfect or even very good. It can be done perfect but the preparation is not trivial. Hopefully some plater will be willing to do it and take the time to tell you what would be needed. Take a big steaming pile of cash with you and the case to show him. Carefull some guys will say NP, take your money, dump it in the vat, and bobs your uncle. You will find stress cracks appearing in the plating, inperfections, every flaw revealed, you will then be very unhappy and broke.
 
Nickel has a yellow tinge, just fyi. If you de-rivet your case, they'll take it. You can't give it to them in one piece.
