I had a glitch with an 4 disk RAID5 array with 2 Hot Spares this morning. It just decided to say every drive was dead and then wipe the array config. I ran into a piece of software called RAID Reconstructor that rebuilds broken array's into an image file for loading into their software called GetDataBack. Everything went great with it and saved me from no sleep tonight. Just thought somebody might find it useful one day cause it could happen to you! The RAID Reconstructor is free for 30 days and the GetDataBack is $79 but allows you to view the files on their demo version so you don't waste your money if they can't help you.
