Not really, the Ikea Galant can give you a lot of space besides just having room for the computer on the surface. Plus you don't need to disturb the stuff sitting on the desk to do an upgrade.

Honestly, it looks like a pinball machine to me.

Some 16 year old who lives in the basement might go for it, it's too commercial or too XBox for my tastes. Plus that's all you get, no other functions.

That first pic looks like a render.

It also looks incredibly impractical.

A good desk should let you make adjustments to best fit the user.
