I am looking for a nice small and cheap Server Chassis for my new NAS build which is using the Mini ITX GA-E350N-USB3 AMD E-350.

I am looking at the Rosewill RSV-R4000 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811147154 or one of the simlar NORCO cases like the NORCO RPC-450B http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811219030 but I am unsure if a Minit-ITX board would fit? Does anyone have any experience with these? is there a way to tell from the pictures of the screw holes if a Mini-ITX board might fit ok?

I would just go for the Norco-4020 but I am trying to make this a cheap build from a bunch of deals i got from Newegg on the rest of the hardware, also i don't see myself needing more that 4-8 drives anytime int he near future.
 
The Fractal that hotzen recomennded is a great server chassis.

edit: you want rack mount.... but mini-ITX.... that doesn't really make sense. why use a mini-itx board in a 4U chassis. I'm 99% sure it would fit, you would have tons of room. Might as well move up to mATX gain lots of good features....

edit2: a 4U chassis for mITX+4x HDD is somewhat overkill, you could go with 2U, we have the SuperChassis 213LTQ-R720LPB at work with 8x hot swap SAS drives.
 
Maybe he already has the board and doesn't want to go through the hassle of an OS reinstall and selling his existing stuff?

The four mounting holes in a Mini-ITX board line up with four of the holes in ATX-specification motherboards, and the locations of the backplate and expansion slot are the same (though one of the holes used was optional in earlier versions of the ATX spec). Mini-ITX boards can therefore often be used in cases designed for ATX, micro-ATX and other ATX variants if desired.

I have the Z2000 and I just verified an ITX board bolts right in. Looking at the hole layout on Newegg it looks like it is able to take an ITX motherboard.

I want a server chassis like the ones i posted so i can stack it with the rest of my gear easily and have room for future expansion.
 
Is it just the form factor you like? A rackmount shelf would hold 2+ of those mini cases linked in the same 4u space as a case would take up (or one case and other stuff). It would be just as stackable in a rack as the rack cases themselves.

Seems to be a bit of a waste if you aren't going to go for more than 5 or so hard drives.

As i said i want room to upgrade. Also these server chassis are half the price as the one i was linked to.
 
FYI there are plenty of 1U cases that would fit your board + that many drives. 4x smaller than 4U.
 
Norco 4220 or 4224. Room to upgrade, well supported, makes use of the 4u form factor. Get the 120mm fan bracket.
